Simplifying the NICU Discharge
Project Description: Residents perceive the discharge process in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit as cumbersome and complex, often times small components are missed which may lead to adverse outcomes. Roles are not clearly identified which leads to frustration and confusion on the part of the residents, attendings, nurses and fellows.
